About Novellia
Last updated: 30 September 2026.
Novellia is an English-language guide to short vertical dramas — the brisk romance, revenge and second-chance serials that apps such as DramaBox distribute. We write the recap so you know what a story is actually about before you spend an hour of your evening, or a subscription, on it.
What a recap page gives you
- the hook and premise, in plain English;
- a chapter-by-chapter summary of the story from setup to ending, with the twists identified;
- the principal cast, what each character wants, and how they relate to each other;
- the practical notes — genre, episode count, tags, and where to watch;
- an FAQ answering what readers usually ask next ("who does she end up with?", "is there a second part?");
- where available, a short preview clip so you can judge the production yourself;
- a link to the platform that owns the episodes.
How a recap is made
We start from the released episodes rather than the platform's marketing copy. Audio is transcribed automatically, the transcript is condensed into a structured story summary, and character and relationship notes are drawn out of that pass. The result is published as editorial prose in English, because most of these dramas arrive with machine subtitles and are rarely summarised anywhere else.
That pipeline is why a Novellia page is a description of a drama rather than the drama itself. We do not host full episodes, we do not offer downloads, and we are not a streaming service — watching happens on the official app, and the link that takes you there may be an affiliate link.
What we do not do
- No full episodes, no rips, no download links.
- No accounts, no comments, no user uploads — the only writing on this site is ours.
- No paywall on the text you are reading now.
- No session recording and no browser fingerprinting. The pages can carry third-party advertising, and when they do the ad provider's own cookies and policy apply to those placements. The Privacy Policy names whatever is live today, explains how to opt out, and covers the small amount of hashed traffic data we keep in order to rank what readers actually watch.
Why the watch links matter to us
Commission is how the site pays for itself. When you tap a DramaBox link and later subscribe, we may earn a share of that spend at no extra cost to you. It shapes which titles we prioritise covering, and we would rather say so than bury it: We may earn a commission when you watch via DramaBox links — at no extra cost to you. We are not DramaBox; full episodes stream on the official app.
Accuracy, spoilers and corrections
Short-drama catalogues are fluid. Titles get relisted under new names, regional availability changes, and an English character name is often a transliteration choice rather than an official spelling. We flag what we are unsure about. Recaps are detailed summaries, so assume every page contains spoilers.
If something on a page is wrong — a name, an ending, an episode count, a dead link — email [email protected] with the URL and what you believe is correct. Factual fixes are the fastest thing we do. Rights holders can find the removal process in our Terms of Use.
What we cover
So far, Novellia concentrates on the DramaBox catalogue of vertical short dramas: romance, melodrama, revenge, contract and fake marriage, hidden-identity and billionaire stories, crime and medical drama, and supernatural or werewolf romance. Browse by genre, browse by tag, use search, or check the trending list to see what other readers are finishing this week.
