Terms of Use
Last updated: 30 September 2026.
These terms govern your use of https://www.novelliaapp.com ("Novellia", "the site"). By browsing or otherwise using the site you agree to them; if you do not agree, please do not use it.
What Novellia is
Novellia is an independent English-language editorial guide to short vertical dramas — recaps, cast notes, FAQs and preview clips whose purpose is to help you decide what to watch. It is not a streaming service and it hosts no full episodes. When you decide to watch, the link takes you to the platform that distributes the drama (currently DramaBox) and that platform's own terms, app store, payments and age controls apply there.
We are not DramaBox. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by DramaBox or the studios that produce the dramas we describe. Titles, characters, posters, stills and clips belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification and commentary.
Unofficial summaries, partly machine-made
Recaps are prepared from the released episodes using automated speech-to-text transcription and automated summarisation, then published as editorial prose in English. A recap is therefore a description of a story, not a transcript of its script: it can contain errors, omissions, or wording that differs from the original dialogue, and names may be transliterations rather than official spellings. Recaps normally tell you what happens, in detail — treat every page as containing spoilers.
Your licence to use the site
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to browse the site and to share links to our pages. You may quote a short extract with a visible credit and a link back to the page. Anything beyond that needs our written permission.
Things you must not do
You agree not to:
- republish, mirror, scrape in bulk, or feed our recaps, layouts or structured data into another website, app, newsletter, dataset or AI training corpus without permission;
- sell, resell or commercially redistribute the site's content, or present our recaps as your own work;
- remove or alter any notice or credit, or imply that we, DramaBox, or any studio we describe endorses you or your products;
- attempt to reach the dashboard, admin endpoints or the content import API without explicit authorisation, or to guess, brute-force, harvest or reuse API keys and credentials;
- interfere with, overload or probe the site for weaknesses, including denial-of-service attempts and bypassing rate limits or access controls;
- upload or transmit malware, or use our infrastructure to host files, relay traffic, or deliver content to third parties;
- use the Novellia name in a domain, app name, advertisement or listing in a way that suggests a connection with us;
- submit or publish through our systems anything unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or invasive of someone's privacy.
Affiliate links and monetisation
Some outbound watch links and buttons are affiliate links: if you tap one and then install, subscribe to, or buy something on the destination platform, we may receive a commission. Your price is not changed by that commission.
Because we earn from some links, expect our choice of which titles to feature and how prominently to place them to be influenced by reader interest, availability, and commission potential. We still describe stories honestly, including weak endings and muddled plots.
Affiliate disclosure in brief: We may earn a commission when you watch via DramaBox links — at no extra cost to you. We are not DramaBox; full episodes stream on the official app.
No advice
Everything here is entertainment information. Nothing on the site is legal, medical, financial or professional advice, and a recap is not a substitute for watching the drama or reading the platform's own terms.
Content ownership and notices from rights holders
The dramas, their titles, posters, stills, trailers and audio belong to the platforms and producers that distribute them. Our editorial text, page layouts and site design belong to us.
If you own or control rights to a drama, still, clip or artwork and want it removed or corrected, email [email protected] with the subject line "Copyright notice" and:
- a description of the work you own and where it is publicly available;
- the exact Novellia URL, and if useful the specific image, clip or passage at issue;
- your name and contact details, and whether you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use you complain of is not authorised by you, your agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
- how you would like it resolved — remove the media, remove the recap, add attribution, or correct the credits.
We review notices in the order received, normally act within a few working days, may disable a page or a single asset while we decide, and will tell you what we did. Because we do not host full episodes, removal is usually straightforward. Repeated or knowingly inaccurate notices may lead us to stop handling further contact from the same sender. Anyone wrongly affected by a notice can send a counter-notice with the same level of detail.
Availability, changes and errors
Short-drama catalogues move. A title you read about here can be renamed, geo-restricted, delayed in your region, or pulled from its platform without notice to us or to you. We do not promise that a drama stays watchable, that a preview clip keeps working, or that a recap is free of mistakes. If a factual error matters to you, tell us and we will fix it.
We may change, add or remove pages, features and content at any time, stop covering a platform or a title, and suspend or discontinue the site.
Third-party services
The site depends on a CDN for images and clips, search engines for indexing, and the drama platforms for the episodes themselves. Those parties are independent: their availability, policies, prices and content are their responsibility, not ours. Describing or linking to a third party is not an endorsement of it.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the site is uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, current, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Novellia and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site — including reliance on a recap, decisions you make after reading one, spend you incur on a third-party platform, lost data, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss — even if we were told such damage was possible. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud, death, or personal injury.
Indemnity
If you use the site or its content in a way that breaches these terms or the law, and a third party brings a claim against us because of it, you will cover our reasonable costs and losses arising from that claim, including legal fees, to the extent the law permits.
Termination and access
We may block, throttle or refuse access — including to an IP range, an API key or an import client — at any time and without notice for breach of these terms, suspected abuse, or legal risk. Revoking an API key stops future imports; it does not by itself delete what that key already published, which you can ask us to remove.
About these terms
These terms together with our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and the operator of this site regarding your use of it. If a provision is unenforceable the rest remains in effect. Our failure to insist on strict performance is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms; we may.
We can update these terms at any time and the date at the top of this page is the version in force; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. If a change is unacceptable to you, stop using the site. These terms are governed by the law of the place where the site's operator is established, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are subject to that place's courts — except where mandatory consumer law lets you bring a claim where you live.
