404 Error: You Lost My Love

Episode 1

For five years, Hugo set aside his dream of exploring the ocean to care for his sick wife, Sheila. He cooked, he cleaned, he nursed her back to health — and none of it was ever enough. On their anniversary, he finally says it out loud: she'll get what she really wants from him, a divorce. But Sheila isn't home. She's out with Bryce, her wealthy ex, collecting gifts and laughing like her marriage doesn't exist. Hugo waits past midnight, alone with a cake he baked for a woman who never came back for it.

Episode 2

Sheila strolls in and calls Hugo jealous, insisting she only went to the beach. He reminds her she has a deadly coral allergy — and she admits it was a moonlight skinny dip with Bryce. When Hugo mentions the cake, she snaps that she can't get one moment of peace, and throws his sacrifices back at him: without her, he'd be nobody. Meanwhile, Hugo remembers the life he gave up — he was set to be a top deep-sea explorer. Sheila's father, Perry McGuire, once rescued him from an orphanage, and Hugo married Sheila to repay that debt. Now he wonders if it's all over.

Episode 3

Hugo tells Sheila it ends today — he promised her father he'd marry her, but the marriage is finished. Bryce arrives, and Sheila fawns over him, telling Hugo he can't even make a smoothie right. When Bryce offers her "something extra," she gloats that he gives her anything she wants. Hugo reveals he spent three years tracking the world's biggest shark, naming it after Sheila. Then a call comes in from Sea Labs Enterprises: they want Hugo for their most ambitious mission ever — deep sea, one year, zero contact. He accepts.

Episode 4

Sea Labs' president is thrilled Hugo is in, and training starts in two days. Hugo wonders how they heard of him — his father-in-law, Perry McGuire, recommended him. At Perry's house, Hugo thanks him, but Perry says recommending him was the easy part. He confesses his own wife cheated on him for years, and he waited too long to divorce her. He doesn't want Hugo to repeat that mistake. Perry tells Hugo his debt has been paid, and that Sheila will regret letting him go for the rest of her life.

Episode 5

Harriet, Sheila's mother, corners Hugo at the door, calling him a worthless parasite and ordering him to shine her shoes. She assumes her daughter finally kicked him out. Hugo corrects her — he's wanted elsewhere. He's leaving. Harriet sneers that he shouldn't milk her daughter for money without working for it. But Hugo has already made his choice: he's walking out the door, and Harriet has no idea what she's about to lose for her daughter. The suitcase says everything.

Episode 6

Bryce moves in, and Sheila is delighted. When she spots Hugo, she barely registers him — she even mistakes him for the maid. Bryce gloats that now he and Sheila can finally be together. Harriet calls Hugo a dog of a husband, and Bryce piles on. Sheila insists it's her house, so she decides who stays. Hugo asks where he's supposed to go, and Bryce offers to get a hotel — but Sheila wants him to stay for the company. Hugo quietly steps aside as Bryce takes his place.

Episode 7

Bryce complains that first class wrecked his back, and Sheila fusses over him, ordering Hugo to run Bryce a bath. Hugo refuses. Harriet snaps at him for being rude to a guest, but Hugo points out that Bryce is the guest — and Hugo is still Sheila's husband. Bryce taunts that Sheila knows exactly how to fix his back. The humiliation is relentless, and Hugo's patience is wearing thin. He's watching another man take over his home, his wife, and his dignity.

Episode 8

Bryce wants to take "his two ladies" to a reservation at a fancy restaurant, bragging he pulled strings for the table. Then a mugger attacks. Hugo jumps in and saves Sheila, knocking the mugger out — but he's stabbed in the process. The mugger even taunts Hugo, comparing him to Sheila. Hugo is bleeding and hurt, yet the attention immediately shifts away from him. He's the hero of the moment, but no one seems to notice what it cost him.

Episode 9

Sheila panics after the attack, blaming Hugo for not running away like she did. Harriet calls him a coward and accuses him of abandoning Bryce. Hugo can barely stand, but Sheila dismisses his wound and tells him to walk to the hospital himself. Bryce lounges, soaking up sympathy, while Hugo bleeds. Sheila orders Hugo around like a servant even now. The man who just saved her life is treated like an inconvenience, and Bryce is the one who gets cared for.

Episode 10

Hugo confronts Sheila: he was stabbed, not scraped. The doctor's bandage was for a scrape, she insists. He asks why Bryce is naked and shiny. Sheila defends herself, saying Bryce's back was hurt and she was just giving him a massage — the least she could do after last night. Hugo reminds her he knocked out the mugger and woke up on the floor. She accuses him of keeping score, then asks Bryce if he'd like a sponge bath. Hugo has his answer: she chose Bryce.

Will Hugo walk away for good, or will Sheila realize too late what she threw away? Watch and find out.
