Episode 1

Claudia Gage wakes on the very day she was first brought back to the Gage family — and she already knows how this story ends. In her past life, her brother blamed her for their parents' death and cast her out to die on the streets. This time, when her adoptive sister Yoyo stages a fall and plays the victim, Claudia refuses to grovel. The family's warm words about "no favoritism" ring hollow, and she quietly decides she won't intrude on their happy four. When the Gages finally look at her, she denies knowing them at all.

Episode 2

Yoyo escalates fast. She claims Claudia is trying to steal her place, then stages a suicide attempt with a knife — and the Gage brother instantly brands Claudia a jinx who should have died in the mountains. But Claudia doesn't flinch the way she did in her last life, and her sudden steel unnerves them. Eager to be rid of her without scandal, the Gages propose a "good home": sending her to the Sawyer family as a maid. Claudia knows exactly what the Sawyers are rumored to be — and she still says yes.

Episode 3

Claudia's reasoning is cold and clear: this life she doesn't want relatives, she wants power and status, and the Sawyer household is her opening. Episode 5

Settled in, Claudia asks for one thing: school. Yves Sawyer happily agrees and jokes that she might even whip the young master's terrible grades into shape. Claudia knows that winning the parents' affection alone won't keep her safe here, so she offers to tutor her new brother. He responds by ordering his test papers burned — and by driving away tutors, now numbering in the hundreds. Claudia walks into his room anyway, uninvited and unbothered, and tells him plainly she isn't there to flatter him.

Episode 6

Claudia stuns the young master by catching two flies in his filthy room — proof, she says, that it isn't skill but squalor. He still refuses to call her his sister, so she names her terms: at next week's midterm exams, if he places second in the grade, she leaves the Sawyer family for good. If he can't, he must hold a formal banquet and publicly declare that he adores her as his sister. He accepts — then asks why second place. Because first, he insists, will be his.

Episode 7

Exam day arrives at the elite academy, and Claudia walks straight into the Gages. The brother sneers that she has no right to test here, while Yoyo plays the pitying sister. Claudia fires back that the Gages cut ties with her long ago and tells them to leave her alone. Classmates mock her as a maid who slept her way into the Sawyer house. She corrects them flatly: her name isn't Gage anymore — she's Sawyer Qing, the sister of the school's own feared bully.

Episode 8

The reveal lands like a slap. The Gage brother rages that she has no right to change her surname, and Yoyo spins it as Claudia clawing her way up. Then Chen, a Sawyer relative, overhears the name "Sawyer Qing" and freezes — his own family has been talking about the girl the Sawyers recently took in. He starts to suspect the "country bumpkin" being mocked may be far more than she appears. Claudia stands her ground and tells the room she has no interest in climbing toward the Sawyers.

Episode 9

Chen pushes the insult too far, and Claudia slaps him. The crowd erupts — do they know who he is? Yoyo demands an apology, but Claudia repeats it plainly: her name is Sawyer Qing, and there is only one in the Sawyer family. Chen, suddenly wary, wonders aloud whether the new daughter his relatives brought home could actually be her. When Yoyo insists Claudia must be impersonating a Sawyer, Claudia's fury breaks through — a flash of the family she lost in her last life.
