Episode 1

Wanda Pike has spent three years building a life that isn't hers. As an elite security agent, she's embedded herself as the lover and soon-to-be wife of Marco Barone, Mayville's most feared crime lord — and the man she blames for her mother's murder. Elsewhere, his people confirm what they've suspected — a dessert shop was the cover for Wanda's agency contacts, the place where she and her handler traded intelligence. Wanda confronts Marco directly, telling him his quarrel is with her, not with innocent people. He answers by ordering her to accompany him to a gathering that night — and warns that if she walks out of it unharmed, her family will be spared.

Episode 9

Wanda walks into the gathering as Marco's woman, and the room makes sure she feels it. The men around the table mock her, calling her nothing but someone who comes when called, and one of them sizes her up with a crude proposition. He offers her two choices, both designed to humiliate her in front of everyone. Marco watches, letting the room press in on her — a test dressed up as a party. Wanda has walked into traps before, but this one is personal, and the men holding the cards clearly enjoy watching her squirm.

Episode 10

The night turns into a gamble with Wanda as the stake. Fat Dragon's people intervene, and a debt is thrown in Marco's face: bow out of the power struggle, and the gambling debt disappears. Instead, the room settles it the bar's old way — Russian roulette. Wanda steps up, betting her life on one spin to walk Marco out alive. When it's done, someone demands to know who she really is. Her answer is cold and practical: she needs money, and working for Marco pays. The price on her loyalty, she says, is three million.
