Let's Love Again

Episode 1

Hannah Jacob is chasing a story about a celebrity when the tip leads her straight into her own past: the man at the center of it is James Jibson, her ex-husband. Three years after their divorce, she has imagined this reunion many times — but never like this. The man who once promised to hold her at the center of his world now belongs to someone else. She watches him from a distance, the old question still unanswered: what actually went wrong between them?

Episode 2

A run-in turns ugly fast. Someone mistakes Hannah for a hostess and tries to drag her to a table for a drink, and when James appears, he doesn't defend her — he sneers that after three years she's fallen this low. Hannah fires back: he was the one who forced her to sign the divorce papers, deleted her, blocked her, and never told her what she did wrong. She offers to explain why she suddenly left the country three years ago, but he isn't interested in listening.

Episode 3

James makes his position brutally clear. To him, Hannah was just a fling — he claims he'd have gotten bored and dumped her anyway, and that deleting and blocking her was simply to stop her clinging. When she asks why he married her at all, he says it was just for fun. Hannah realizes the misunderstanding she carried for three years was one-sided; the longing she felt was a joke to him. He even offers to pay her more than the men at the bar, twisting the knife further.

Episode 4

Back at the magazine, Hannah and her colleague Song Jiajia are ordered to deliver the impossible: an exclusive interview with James Jibson, CEO of Shenghai Group and the richest man in Haicheng within three years. Their boss threatens to fire them if they fail, calling the company no place for dead weight. James is famous for being cold and ruthless — no one expects him to agree. Jiajia turns to Hannah: can she reach him somehow?

Episode 5

Hannah finds a way in through Shenghai Group's official contact channel, and the two colleagues head to the interview. At the door, Tina Summers appears — and it's clear this is James's home. Tina assumes they already know about her and James. When Hannah insists they're there to work, James tells them to wait outside, then lets them in only on one condition: they must disinfect first. Hannah asks what she ever did to make him think she's dirty.

Episode 6

James won't answer her question — he says she knows exactly what she did. Hannah reminds him their booked slot is half an hour and that every minute of stalling is on him. He keeps weaponizing the clock, and she keeps disinfecting, humiliated but refusing to leave. When the interview finally starts, she asks about the founding vision of Shenghai Group, but James dismisses the questions as a waste of his time. Hannah points out they booked ahead and submitted their outline — backing out now isn't ethical. His reply cuts deep: does she even have such a thing as morals?

Episode 7

The interview collapses into an accusation. The editor-in-chief claims their article is fake and that the company could be ruined for offending Shenghai Group. Hannah and Jiajia protest that their reporting is real. Then Tina Summers arrives, saying she was the one who warned the editor the piece was fabricated. Hannah challenges her directly — Tina was there in person, so how can she call it fake? The editor threatens to verify with Shenghai Group, but someone says there's no need to call: the answer is walking in the door.

Episode 8

James arrives and stands with Tina, publicly backing her claim that the interview was faked. The editor panics and offers to fire Hannah and Jiajia on the spot, but James says firing isn't enough — people who fabricate news will only hurt others, and he wants them driven out of journalism entirely. Hannah confronts him: what did she ever do to deserve this kind of revenge? The episode slips into an earlier time — a graduation, a marriage certificate, and a rumor that Hannah was being kept by another man. A phone call goes unanswered.

Episode 9

Hannah tells James she finds him disgusting, and he makes no secret of his contempt for her. She says she'll leave, but begs him not to drag innocent people into it — Jiajia did nothing wrong. He agrees not to involve her. Jiajia is stunned to learn that Tina Summers's powerful backer is James himself, and blames herself for Hannah's trouble. Hannah tells her the chapter with James was over long ago, and that leaving is the only way to keep Jiajia safe.

Episode 10

Hannah's father checks in on her after her rushed return home, telling her to come to him if anyone mistreats her — she is the daughter of his family's fortune, and no one gets to bully her. She promises to take care of herself. Then a friend greets her, teasing that she came back without a word after three years abroad, and needles her with a pointed question: did she rush home for the man who abandoned her?

Hannah walked away once with nothing but confusion and a signed divorce paper. Now she's back with a press badge, a past that won't stay buried, and a family name she hasn't even begun to use — so press play and watch how far she'll go when the people who hurt her finally learn who they're dealing with.
