Story Recap

Episode 1

Louis, an undercover DEA agent, is caught by the Mafia and tortured for information. Even while taking a beating, he refuses to break, vowing he won't die today and that he'll drag them all into federal prison. Jack wants him dead on the spot. Then Daniel, the second-in-command, walks in and changes everything.

He calls Jack too brutal, saying a body like this should be caressed, not ruined. Jack accuses him of playing saint and hitting on a fed. Daniel doesn't deny it. He simply claims Louis as his prisoner and takes him away, leaving Jack furious that he can't just walk in and take him. Daniel's answer is cold: he can, because he wants him.

Episode 2

Daniel drags Louis away while Jack seethes, calling Daniel a sick freak who's saving a fed. Daniel shrugs it off, saying he's just found a new toy. Jack warns that the old man won't tolerate this, but Daniel insists any man he wants, he gets.

Louis snaps that he should kill him now or he'll drag Daniel to the DEA himself. Daniel tells him to stay alive for that, then leans in: play along, officer, they have an audience. Confused, Louis wonders if Daniel is actually protecting him. Daniel keeps up the act for the watching eyes, and Louis can't tell if his captor is a monster or something far more complicated.

Episode 3

Alone at last, the performance drops. Louis is shaken by how close he came to death, and Daniel's tone shifts. He admits they were classmates once, back at the Academy, and tells Louis not to think of him as a complete monster.

Louis fires back, asking if Daniel even remembers the oath they swore on day one. Daniel dismisses it as kids' stuff: Louis is the self-righteous fed, he's the right hand of Louis's worst nightmare. But after seeing how ruthless Jack is, Daniel says he simply doesn't want Louis to die too ugly. It's a warning, and maybe something more.

Episode 4

A memory surfaces: a younger Daniel losing a race, promising that next tournament he'll win and become a better cop. Louis remembers the rivalry.

Now Daniel dismisses the rumors that he joined the family to escape a murder charge, and warns Louis to save the hostage-negotiation psychology for someone else. Instead of trying to flip him, Daniel offers a deal: play his lover for three days, until the bosses and a major deal are done, and he walks out alive. Louis's mind races. A major deal in three days. He needs to get that intel out. Then Daniel casually offers to feed him, and the tension turns strange.

Episode 5

The deal looms, and Mr. Philip arrives personally for today's shipment, bringing a gift to congratulate Daniel on his "special little pet." He tells Daniel to let Louis have a taste. Daniel refuses, saying he has all the product he needs and doesn't need anyone training his toys.

Mr. Philip warns that keeping a cop around is a ticking time bomb, and that nobody touches what's his: Louis either shoots up or takes a bullet to the head. Daniel stands his ground, protecting him. Then something snaps. Gunfire erupts, Daniel shooting wildly at everyone, and Louis is the one shouting for him to snap out of it.

Episode 6

Daniel wakes, and Louis confronts him: is this how he repays him? They both know what that poison does to people. It destroys them, and Louis tells him he can't touch that stuff again. Daniel sneers that he's a big shot in the family now, and the drugs are just a little hobby, just like Louis.

Louis reels, realizing how blind he was, and calls him sick before stepping out for air. Then the godfather appears, furious that Daniel brought his "little pet" along, a fed, risking the deal. Daniel claims he needs to keep a close eye on him, then admits the truth: he can't bear to kill him. He is his first love.

Episode 7

The reveal lands badly. The godfather is disgusted by the twisted romance and orders Louis taken away immediately. But the situation is already collapsing.

Luke has set them up. Someone shouts that it's not what it looks like, and the scene erupts into chaos, with orders to run and a threat to cut a throat. Intel confirms the guy Luke brought was involved. Louis is caught in the crossfire of a deal gone wrong, and Daniel's careful game is coming apart around him. Louis tells someone to wait for him, still calculating his next move even as everything spirals.

Episode 8

The DEA pulls Louis back in. He's tasked with digging out the mysterious drug lord behind Luke and bringing them all to justice. He gives his word without hesitation.

Meanwhile, a cocky "special delivery" walks straight into the cat's den, a rat strutting in, and the criminals can barely believe the arrogance. Louis is told to go deep undercover, infiltrate Luke's inner circle, and find the drug lord pulling the strings. Daniel, undeterred, says three days as his lover was far too short. Swearing an oath to both the law and the underworld, he promises: give him one month, and Louis will be his husband.
