Episode 1

Luna is a pizza girl who doesn't take anything from anyone. When a customer harasses her during a delivery, she fights back and gets fired on the spot — and she doesn't regret it. What she doesn't know is that billionaire Ethan Hale has been searching for her. His man finds her working at the pizza place, and Ethan introduces himself. But Luna has no idea who he is. Ethan remembers a night when they ran for their lives together; for her, forgetting was easier. Then he drops a bomb: he wants to marry her.

Episode 2

It's not a real marriage — it's a contract. Ethan explains that Owen had a rough childhood and has become volatile, and he believes someone genuine could get through to him. One year, one million dollars. Luna does the math and says deal. She moves into the Hale mansion, where she is welcomed as Mrs. Hale, and for a moment it feels like the happiest day of her life. But Owen is not happy. He tells her to get out of his house, and when Ethan orders him to respect his wife and mother, Owen fires back that she's not his mom and Ethan will never be his father.

Episode 3

Luna refuses to be scared off by a kid. Owen tries to drive her out, but she plants her feet: if he wants her gone, he'll have to drag her out himself. He accuses her of faking the perfect wife act and swears he'll make sure she's out of the house for good. Luna doesn't flinch — she's survived creepy customers and minimum wage, so one angry kid is nothing. She even spots a painting he made and tells him it's amazing. Ethan admits Owen is difficult, but Luna stands her ground.

Episode 4

Ethan teases Luna about her face turning red when she's nervous, and the tension between them grows. When they end up sharing a bed, he insists they do this properly — if they act weird, Owen will notice immediately. Luna asks why Owen hates her so much, and Ethan finally explains: buried in work back then, he hired a tutor to care for Owen, never imagining she was abusing him while he was away. No wonder the kid pushes everyone away. Luna vows to prove not everyone is out to hurt him. Then a memory surfaces — a night of running for their lives, and Ethan's words that she might have become his wife long ago.

Episode 5

Ethan leaves for work, telling Owen to be nice to his mom while he's gone, and promises to be back in time for the kid's birthday party. But the party comes and Ethan isn't there. Owen is crushed, and when Luna tries to comfort him, he snaps that he doesn't need her fake sympathy and storms off. She tells him not to look so sad — his dad probably got stuck at work — but he won't hear it. The birthday boy is left alone, and Luna is left watching the kid she's supposed to reach push her away again.

Episode 6

At the party, a bully knocks a pie out of Owen's hands and demands he pick it up. When Owen refuses, the kid goes for the cruelest cut: he says Owen is just some random orphan Ethan took in, that his parents are dead, and that once Ethan is married he'll dump Owen in an orphanage. Owen insists he does have a family — then shoves the bully. The fight escalates until Luna steps in. She checks Owen for injuries, then turns on the bullies with a warning: let's see who dares to lay a hand on him. For the first time, someone is actually in his corner.
