Perfect Score, Perfect Payback

Episode 1

Elsa Litt walks out of juvie after a month, cleared only because the evidence that she hit Fu Qianqian was insufficient. Her family is waiting outside — and they are not there to welcome her. The Litt father tells her a month locked up should have cured her bad habits. The First Litt brother, a lawyer, insists she hit Fu Qianqian and framed Elsa Litt, asking why she'd play the hero if she wasn't guilty. Elsa answers quietly: her only mistake was saving someone and expecting anything from them. The country's SAT results are out, and a top scorer banquet is set for eight tonight.

Episode 2

The brothers keep hammering Elsa, telling her she isn't worthy to be their sister and that they have no such sister. The Litt father claims Elsa Litt never left the house that night, offering to take the fall herself if Elsa is scared — while the First Litt brother says his testimony as a witness is enough, no dashcam needed. Elsa finally declares she is cutting ties with the Litt family for good. They laugh it off as another attention stunt, warning she'll never see a cent of the family money. Then the Second Litt brother notices the blood on her, and someone asks what happened to her.

Episode 3

Away from the Litts, Elsa finds people who actually believe her. Her brother apologizes for failing to protect her, and his family tells her the Litt family's door is always open to her — they'll back her no matter what. They promise to get justice for how the Litts treated her. Then a call comes from the provincial government: Elsa has scored a result that stunned the whole province, and she's invited to tonight's top scorer banquet with her family. She asks her brother and parents to come with her. He agrees, saying it's time they showed their true standing.

Episode 4

At the banquet, guests congratulate the Litt father on his three capable sons and his scholar daughter, assuming Elsa Litt is the star. Elsa Litt accepts the praise, calling herself the city's top scorer. A guest asks about the Litts' other daughter, and Elsa Litt explains her sister did badly, drove in anger, and put Fu Qianqian in a coma. The brothers joke that Elsa's threat to cut ties will last a day before she comes crawling back. The Litt father publicly declares Elsa is no longer his daughter — the Litt family has only one daughter, Elsa Litt. Meanwhile, a mysterious heir prepares three lavish gifts.

Episode 5

Elsa arrives at the banquet and is immediately sneered at as a jailbird who doesn't belong. The brothers tell her to stop playing the village woman with tears and threats, mocking her worn shoes and ordering her to go change. Elsa answers with two points: she isn't here to ride their coattails, and these are the only shoes she owns. When the brothers insist they bought her plenty of shoes, she asks whether they ever actually bought her a single pair. Nobody answers. Their gifts all go to Elsa Litt. Elsa asks when they ever gave her a cent.

Episode 6

The Litt father insists he had ten thousand a month sent to Elsa for three years. The finance staff reveals the truth: the Litt father ordered the payments stopped, saying Elsa couldn't handle money, and that same money went to Elsa Litt instead. The father calls it protecting Elsa from going astray, and claims Elsa Litt needed comfort. Elsa points out the contradiction — money for Elsa Litt was never a worry. She says that because of their mistake she suffered for years, and instead of making it up to her, they let her keep suffering. They still insist she must have gotten pocket money and red envelopes.

Episode 7

Elsa proves she got nothing. She once asked for five hundred for a school trip; she was accused of competing for attention and told she only cared about money. Elsa Litt, meanwhile, receives checks and gifts for overseas study. Elsa reveals she survived by picking up trash and tutoring, and that she never ate a hot meal at home — out by five in the morning, back at eight at night, with no food left for her. The cook confirms it, and the family's rule of eating on time left her with nothing. Her medical report shows severe stomach ulcers. Then the truth about her school comes out.

Episode 8

The Litt father admits he never transferred Elsa to Elsa Litt's elite school, claiming he worried about Elsa Litt's stress. Elsa reveals she attends a school in the neighboring city, twenty kilometers from home — that's why she left early and returned late every day. The brothers call it a sympathy act, but guests murmur that the family was negligent. Elsa reminds them she did ask to transfer, and no one listened; they told her a bad student should be grateful to study at all. She says her SAT score is something Elsa Litt can never reach. The banquet begins.

Episode 9

At the top scorer banquet, the host announces a dark horse from Jiang province who didn't just take the provincial title but broke the all-time record to become the national top scorer — a daughter of the Litt family. The Litts assume it's Elsa Litt and celebrate. Elsa Litt takes the stage, crediting her 680 to her parents and brothers. Then the host corrects everything: this year's top scorer scored a perfect 750, and 680 isn't even close. The national top scorer's name isn't Elsa Litt — it's Elsa Litt. The room goes silent as the Litts realize who they threw away.

Watch how the Litt family's golden child fantasy collapses when the real scores are read out — press play and see Elsa's payback begin.
