Reborn To Claim The Dragon King

Episode 1

A thousand years of war once split the ocean, mortal, and sky realms—until Dragon King Draven forged the accord of the three realms. Marina wakes to the worst day of her first life: the elopement with Victor. He sneers that the heart scale she gave him already granted him mermaid power, so she is useless now—just a stepping stone to Draven's throne. As the trap closes, Draven comes for her anyway, confessing he loved her and only her. Marina dies begging for another chance. Then she wakes again—back at the beginning. "This time, that bastard Victor will pay for everything."

Episode 2

Marina stands before Draven, who reminds her that her dying father entrusted her to him—and this is how she repays that trust? Celine piles on, feigning shock that Marina would run off with a mortal. But Marina sees through the lies that blinded her last life. She tells Draven that in all three realms, he is the only person she can trust, and tells Celine to spare her the lies. When Victor begs to be released with her, Draven's answer is cold: "Take him. Feed him to the sharks." Victor screams her name as he is dragged away.

Episode 3

Victor is thrown to the sharks, and Marina does not flinch—she even notes the savage sharks have not tasted fresh meat in a long time. Draven is suspicious: this is the man she was willing to break with him for, so what game is she playing now? Marina refuses to run anymore and tells him to test her sincerity if he doubts her. Draven warns her not to lie to him again, then softens—when the day comes for her to wed a worthy man, he will place her hand in his himself. But Marina's vow is darker: everyone who wronged them will pay in blood.

Episode 4

Marina wants only to see how pathetic the liar Victor looks in the king's custody. Palace servants whisper that she seems different since last night—and that Draven showed mercy only because he did not want her holding it against him. He even made her breakfast himself. Marina needles him about why he will not let her marry Victor, accusing him of wanting to control her. Draven tells her to eat first; she has not eaten in two days. Then it hits her: all those years, every breakfast—it was always him. Meanwhile, Victor swears he will come for her.

Episode 5

Marina reveals that her heart scale gave Victor a free pass through the deep ocean—but she is taking it back with interest. Victor, still playing the devoted lover, insists yesterday was all an act for Draven and leads her toward a secret passage. Celine gloats that the title of Dragon Queen can only belong to her. But the escape is a setup: Draven is told Marina is running away with Victor. Furious, he orders them taken to her. Marina, it seems, has walked straight into the trap on purpose.

Episode 6

Victor spins his fantasy: once they are out, they will announce their engagement, and Marina will help convince Draven to back his claim to the mortal throne. She plays along—until the only way out leads past the sharks. Victor, who claims to love her, hesitates. Marina turns the knife: "You said you loved me. Surely you can overcome a little danger for my sake." When he balks, she drops the act entirely. "I never loved you. This is only the interest. Starting today, you're going to pay me back for what you stole."

Episode 7

Celine pretends to be Marina's only savior, offering to free her from Draven—but Marina is not buying it. Draven, meanwhile, is told Marina ran off with Victor, and Celine twists the knife about the two of them together. Then Marina returns, claiming Victor lied to her and tried to take her by force, so she trapped him in the shark pit. Celine needles that Draven has always been too gentle with her. Draven's response is pointed: was she not just rehearsing her engagement to Victor? A lover's quarrel, indeed.

Episode 8

The engagement rehearsal is done—the real ceremony is tomorrow. Marina remembers her last life: at that ceremony, Celine pushed her into the abyss and made Draven a laughing stock before all three realms. This time, it is Celine's turn. Draven offers Marina an out—if she insists on marrying Victor, she leaves Dragon territory for good. Marina refuses to go. She confronts Celine about years of poisoning her ears, then vows to Draven that she will be the one to protect him now. He relents, and orders Celine sent away to the sky realm.

Episode 9

Celine scrambles. She complains that Victor did exactly as told, yet Marina changed—she did not leave with Victor and has charmed Draven into throwing Celine out. With the sky realm coming for her tomorrow, Celine pleads for help. The advice she receives is cold and simple: get Draven into bed, and once the deed is done, he is hers—and she can still cooperate with Victor. Celine thanks her, already scheming. But the schemer has her own plan: once Marina is gone, the place beside the Dragon King will belong to her alone.

Episode 10

Celine makes her move with a bowl of Pearl soup as Marina prepares to be sent away at dawn. Marina sees straight through it—"Drop the act"—though Celine insists Draven asked her to bring it. Marina dismisses her and warns her to take care of herself once she is gone. Then Celine's true intent surfaces: "Enjoy your night with Victor, Marina, because from this night on, Draven will be mine." She has already handled Marina—and now she is calling Victor over to finish the job.
