Story Recap

Episode 1

A code orange alarm cuts through the city: an apex starbeast has breached the perimeter. Colt Thorne, piloting the Tempest, answers the call. His record-breaking 90% neural sync makes him the only pilot on Earth who can run a Mark Six mech alone, and he saves everyone again.

Then the news lands. A swarm of starbees has hit the town where his parents live. He couldn't protect his own family, and the guilt breaks him. Before he vanishes, he's given a summoner for the Tempest — the key that calls the mech once he hits 100% neural sync.

Later, a mugging. Colt dares the robbers to kill him. He's tired of being alone.

Tempest:The Last Mecha - Episode 1

Episode 2

Someone steps in to stop the mugging, and Colt walks away with his life — but not his reputation. In Archadia City, the name Colt Thorne is a legend, and the man scrubbing floors for House Revo is treated as a worthless nobody wearing a hero's name.

The insults cut deeper than they should. A janitor who can't save his own family has no right to the name. But when a rig's core vortex drive is misread, the janitor quietly calls the flaw correctly — and someone notices.

Why is the Mech King's namesake hiding among the Revo? And why does he take the humiliation without a word?

Tempest:The Last Mecha - Episode 2

Episode 3

Colt keeps volunteering for grunt work, and the reason is simple: it keeps him close to Freya, the woman he loves, instead of miles away in a tin can. Freya has bigger problems. The trials are tomorrow, and House Revo faces House Ivich.

Since the legendary Colt Thorne vanished two years ago, the Federation has run trials in every city, hunting a pilot who can link with the Tempest. Whoever wins could be sent to the Pacific base — and become its next pilot. If Ivich wins, Revo is wiped off the map.

Freya warns Colt to leave before it's too late. And Blake Ivich, the creep who has wanted her for years, is circling.

Episode 4

A monitor blinks: 93% sync rate. Freya stares at it — is this Colt's reading? The room erupts. A janitor with zero piloting talent in his blood can't possibly pull 93%. If he could pilot, he wouldn't be scrubbing floors like a servant.

The logic cuts both ways. A pilot with a 93% sync rate could rule the world — so why would anyone like that hide in a small town?

Colt says nothing. Inside, the question burns: should he just tell her the truth? Then someone asks him straight out — are you the hero who saved the Federation?

Episode 5

Colt insists he's no hero. He couldn't protect anyone. The denial lands, but the whispers don't stop — no way a loser like Colt hit 93%.

Vex steps up as Revo's strongest fighter, and the house pins tomorrow's trial on him. His sync rate reads 48%. The room celebrates — they actually have a shot. Colt quietly warns that Vex's rate might already be over 50%, and gets shut down for it. He can't pilot; he doesn't get a say.

Then the blame surfaces: if Freya hadn't risked her life saving Colt, her neural tracks wouldn't be damaged. Her sync rate has been stuck below 50% for two years. This is all his fault.

Episode 6

Colt brings Freya tea, hoping she'll sleep before the trial. She brushes him off — she has things to do.

Then, out of nowhere, he says it: he's liked her since she saved his life two years ago. Please don't fight tomorrow. He can't stand the thought of something happening to her.

Freya doesn't soften. She's the head of House Revo. If she falls, she falls with her people. She calls him a coward and tells him he disappoints her.

Alone, Colt hits a wall of his own: the only physical mech in Archadia City belongs to the Ivich family. His 93% sync still isn't enough to summon the Tempest. There has to be another way.

Episode 7

The trial begins, and the arena fills. A holographic combat simulator hums to life — the mechs may be simulations, but the pain and the neural damage are real.

Freya takes the first fight herself: 30% sync, then 35%. A rig is only as strong as its pilot, and her people haven't lost yet. Blake answers with brutal confidence, and when he has her cornered, he makes his demand — swear yourself to me as my slave, or watch your people get slaughtered one by one.

Freya refuses to kneel. Fine. She'll fight.

Episode 8

Blake's sync rate locks in at 56% — higher than Freya ever managed at her prime. He toys with her, too fast, too strong. She refuses to stay down.

His offer curdles into a threat: submit, keep me happy as my slave, and maybe I let you live. Maybe I even let House Revo crawl away with scraps. He turns to the crowd — any more Revo losers brave enough to die?

Silence. Then Blake declares it: Freya belongs to him, and the chance to pilot the Tempest is his.

A voice cuts through: I'll fight for House Revo.

Episode 9

It's Colt. The room turns on him — a sync-zero loser has no right to represent House Revo. Just because his name is Colt doesn't make him the legend. He'll get himself killed.

Then Vex arrives, and for a second it looks like a rescue. Instead, Vex offers the crest of House Revo, the deed to its barony, and his absolute loyalty to Lord Blake. Freya is stunned. Her father raised Vex like a son.

Blake accepts. Vex is an Ivich now. And Blake turns back to his "sweet little slave," promising to break her dreams.

Episode 10

Blake orders Colt back — he's not qualified to fight. The choice is simple: be my slave or die. Freya answers for herself: she'd rather be crushed into dust than submit. She will never be his slave.

Blake's smile only widens. The harder she fights, the more he'll enjoy breaking her. He threatens to pass her around to his men.

The simulation cuts out. Blake demands to know who dared interrupt his duel. The answer lands like a hammer: she surrendered. Now Colt Thorne, husband to Freya of House Revo, takes the fight for her house. Neural link: 100%. Summoning the Tempest.

If you've been waiting for the janitor to finally drop the mop and answer for everything, this is the moment to hit play.
