The Captain's Baby Girl

Episode 1

Lexie has been living in shadows since burying her parents a year ago, and her aunt's house is no refuge. The abuse comes to a head when her aunt accuses her of stealing and talking back, then screams at her to get out and go find her dead parents. Brianna arrives demanding answers, and the truth lands hard: she claims to be Ethan's fiancée. Ethan refuses her outright — "I never agreed to this marriage. Not now, not ever." He orders her shown out and warns that his home isn't an open house. But Brianna has leverage, hinting at her family's investment, and Lexie overhears the whole exchange. Later, Ethan kneels to put socks on her bare feet, worried she'll catch cold. The clothes he ordered for her have arrived. Episode 4

Ethan admits he knows nothing about young girls' fashion and lets Lexie pick whatever she likes. At Braxton High, the hostility is immediate. Someone wants Lexie's school standing destroyed, sneering that a girl from the slums doesn't deserve a place at a school they sponsor. When Lexie is humiliated and mocked, a group corners her — and the warning is pointed: stick to the free line, stop going after things that aren't yours, especially someone else's fiancé. It's Brianna's message, delivered through others. Lexie is told outright that maybe this isn't the right place for her. Just as it turns physical, a familiar voice cuts in: "Don't touch her."

Episode 6

Ethan arrives exactly when Lexie needs him most — and he doesn't come quietly. Confronting the people responsible, he makes his position unmistakable: Lexie is under his protection now, and anyone who lays a finger on her will pay for it tenfold. He even cuts a business partner from his list over it, making clear this wasn't a joke to him. The bullies back down and promise it will never happen again. Episode 7

Ethan notices Lexie still hasn't worn any of the dresses he bought her. She admits her aunt once tore up all her dresses, and that she doesn't think she's enough for pretty things. Episode 8

Lexie walks into homecoming transformed, and the room reacts — some dazzled, some vicious, whispering that she's only there because she seduced a wealthy man. The announcement arrives: Jackson Davis is homecoming king, and to everyone's shock, Lexie is crowned queen. The crowd chants her name as she stands in the spotlight for the first time. Then comes the tradition everyone's waiting for — the homecoming king and queen kiss. Jackson leans in, telling her she looks amazing tonight. The moment hangs, and someone is watching.

Episode 9

Before the kiss can land, Ethan storms in: "Stay the hell away from her." Jackson pushes back, pointing out that Ethan has no right to stop this unless he feels differently about her — and the question lodges itself in Ethan's mind. Brianna is alerted that Lexie is stealing her fiancé at homecoming. Others mock Ethan as a classic dad figure, but he insists he's only keeping his promise to her father, and that if Lexie dates, it'll be with his approval. Then it slips out — why does the thought of her with another guy bother him so much? He apologizes, fixes her dress, and reveals a surprise.

Episode 10

It's Lexie's nineteenth birthday, and Ethan gives her a beautiful gift, wishing her a happy birthday. She voices the fear underneath everything: she hopes she's more than just a little girl to him. But he's distracted by a meeting and forgets the cake, leaving her deflated — she wasn't expecting much anyway. Then Brianna strikes again at the celebration, mocking Lexie and threatening that last time's lesson wasn't enough. Ethan steps in and has her removed, but Brianna warns darkly that she'll make sure Lexie's nineteenth birthday is unforgettable.
