The CEO's Contract Lover

Seven years ago, Emily Wilson's engagement party turned into a nightmare when she was locked up with a drugged stranger, Henry Anderson. Henry fell into a coma for over a month and remembered only a girl. Emily became pregnant out of wedlock, was cast out by the Walton family, and left school to raise her son, Jack. Now, struggling to make ends meet and desperate to save her ailing son, Emily returns to the hotel where it all began, driven by her career. There, fate leads her and Henry to unwittingly sign a couple's contract.

The main characters are Emily Wilson, the heroine and mother of Jack; Henry Anderson, CEO of Anderson Group and the stranger from the fateful night; Jack, Emily's ailing son; Alex, Emily's former fiancé; and Sophia, the woman who interferes with Emily and Alex's engagement.

Emily's engagement party turns into a nightmare when she finds herself locked in a room with a drugged stranger, her head spinning as the heat rises. She says, "This was supposed to be the engagement party for me," desperate for help. Someone has other plans, and a chilling promise follows: just two drops, and after tonight, we'll see how much fight she has left. By morning, the engagement is in ruins, and Emily is left carrying a secret she never chose.

Henry Anderson is the CEO of Anderson Group and the stranger from the fateful night. He wakes from a coma that swallowed more than a month of his life, with doctors blaming a severe reaction to powerful chemicals in his system. He admits everything is a blur except a girl — he's certain he gave her something precious that night and that she showed up. Told flatly that there was no girl, he refuses to let it go and is determined to track down the one person who might explain what happened to him.

The Walton family confronts Emily about being pregnant out of wedlock — and about not knowing who the father is. Their verdict is brutal: the family won't allow someone like her to undermine their name, and they tell her to pack her things and leave. They even search her before she goes, reminding her she was never really a Walton.

Sophia interferes with Emily and Alex's engagement. When Alex asks where his fiancée is, Sophia is ready with a reply — you couldn't count on her, but don't worry, I'll be there for you. She even suggests calling the whole night off, then flips: everyone's already here, so let's give them an engagement party. She later warns Emily to stay away from Alex.
