The Day Fate Found Us

Episode 1

Nathan Ford runs Ford Corp, but at home his mother is at war with his single life. She rails that he is thirty and still refuses to marry, while he insists his heart belongs only to his childhood sweetheart, a girl he has searched for years without finding. His mother's patience snaps. She has him drugged and orders a group of young women to try their luck in his room. Yelena Shaw, the new nanny, is asked to cover the liquor cabinet that night and wakes up in Nathan's bed.

Episode 2

Nathan wakes to find Yelena in his bed and assumes the worst — that she posed as a nanny to climb into the Ford family and grab the mistress's seat. He coldly offers her money to disappear. Yelena has her own emergency: her father is in the hospital with a brain bleed, needing a hundred-thousand operation, and her family's company has collapsed. She takes the card, ashamed. A family member presses Nathan about which woman he actually wants, and he snaps that he never wanted the woman his mother's scheme put in his bed.

Episode 3

A pocket watch goes missing, and Nathan's mother realizes the woman from that night may be carrying the Ford family's first grandchild. She orders a search of who entered the house, and a watch is found in Nathan's room. Meanwhile, Yelena has quietly become indispensable to the older woman through her traditional therapy, easing her aches and earning a raise she tries to refuse. Then the mother notices something in Yelena's face — a hint of pregnancy. Yelena deflects, blaming a stomach problem and hurrying off to the hospital.

Episode 4

At the hospital, Yelena learns she is three months pregnant. With her father now a vegetative patient and medical bills piling up, she feels she cannot afford a child and asks the doctor to schedule a termination. But as she holds the consent form, she feels the baby move and cannot go through with it — she cancels the surgery. A family member spots her at the clinic, checks the paperwork, and realizes the timing matches that night. He rushes off to tell Nathan that someone is carrying his child.

Episode 5

The woman from three months ago has vanished, and Nathan's mother keeps hunting. Lydia Zane, Nathan's former fiancée, storms into the old house after learning someone dared to sleep with Nathan and get pregnant. Though her engagement to him is already broken, she declares herself the future mistress of the Ford family and demands the culprit be found. She has the maids lined up and roughly interrogated, threatening to make whoever is pregnant wish she were dead. None of the women she checks are expecting — but the household staff is larger than she thinks.

Episode 6

At the company, Nathan's mother confronts him about two identical pocket watches — one of which is with Yelena. The discovery clicks: the woman from that night may be Yelena herself. Before he can act, Lydia raids the old house, furious and suspicious of every maid. She orders the four women stripped and searched. Yelena protests that they are decent people, but Lydia insists on rooting out anyone who might have seduced Nathan. A search of their rooms turns up something — and the blame lands on Yelena.

Episode 7

Lydia gloats that Yelena tried to use a pregnancy to seize the Ford family, and vows to beat the child out of her as a warning. A family member fills in the rest: Yelena is the daughter of a bankrupt family, her father beaten into a coma by debt collectors, which is why a university graduate took a nanny job. Then the pieces lock — Yelena is the childhood sweetheart Nathan has been chasing all along. A panicked call warns that Lydia is at the old house, about to hurt the baby.

Episode 8

Yelena pleads with Lydia, insisting her unborn child is innocent, but Lydia sneers that the baby's only mistake was choosing Yelena as a mother. She vows not just to destroy the pregnancy but to ruin Yelena's face so she can never lure anyone again. The household staff beg her to stop, warning that the consequences will be beyond her reach, but Lydia refuses to relent. She declares that only a child from her own body could ever belong to Nathan, and moves to carry out her threat.

Episode 9

The staff scramble to intervene, terrified of what will happen if the child is harmed. They beg Lydia to show mercy for the Ford family's sake, but she only grows more enraged, ordering them dragged away. She taunts that Yelena has too many protectors for someone who hasn't even claimed the mistress's seat, and decides Yelena is a threat that must be eliminated. As she raises her hand to strike, a voice cuts through the room — "Stop."

Will Yelena be saved in time — and will she finally learn who Nathan really is? Start watching to find out.
