Episode 1

Anna Judd has spent ten years keeping a secret: she is Erika, the business prodigy who walked away from an empire to marry Pei Xin'an. Now she's ready to hand him a hundred-billion-dollar contract that will elevate his family for good, and in ten days she plans to reveal who she really is.

Then her son A Zhan murmurs in his sleep and asks her a question no mother should hear: whether she and Dad could get a divorce.

Episode 2

Anna brushes off the sleep-talk at first—A Zhan is just a kid who wants fried chicken and ice cream. But the pieces don't fit. Shi Jiaoyue was supposed to be married abroad. So why is she suddenly out at picnics with Pei Xin'an and A Zhan?

Then Anna hears her son say it plainly: he wishes his parents would divorce so Jiaoyue can be his real mother.

Ten years of marriage, and Pei Xin'an never once took her out. Yet he's at amusement parks and concerts with his first love and their son. When Anna moves toward his study, he snaps at her to stay out. Ten years, one locked door. What is he hiding inside?

Episode 3

The study door finally opens—and Anna's world tilts.

Inside are gifts Pei Xin'an kept from Shi Jiaoyue: a rabbit doll she made for him, a tie for his inheritance day, a custom ring she promised to wear when he came to marry her. Every anniversary Anna tried to celebrate, he dismissed as pointless. He told her he hated grand gestures. Yet here he kept every token from another woman.

Worse, he's still in contact with Jiaoyue now. He tells her that even if she betrayed him, he'd forgive her—and he'd cancel his wedding to Anna in a heartbeat. Anna realizes she may have been a stand-in all along.

Episode 4

Anna remembers how it began: assassins, a five-minute rescue, and a man who seemed to choose her. Back then, everyone knew Pei Xin'an loved Shi Jiaoyue to madness—and that he married Anna because she looked like her.

He denied it. He called Anna his true love.

But now the truth spills out. Jiaoyue left him when he was at his lowest, chasing a rich man. She's back, divorced, and calling him at night about nightmares and an abusive ex-husband. Pei Xin'an rushes to her, then tells Anna he's only helping out of guilt. Anna asks the question she's avoided for ten years: was she ever anything but a replacement?

Episode 5

A Zhan collapses with severe diarrhea and blood in his stool. At the hospital, the doctor is blunt: the child ate a large amount of junk food, and his sensitive stomach couldn't take it. But Anna never let him near fried chicken.

Then A Zhan repeats the line that's been haunting her: fried chicken is so tasty, but Mom never lets him eat it.

Anna's mother-in-law turns on her instead—blaming her for neglecting the boy, sneering that she never should have let her into the family. Then the truth slips: everyone knew Jiaoyue was taking A Zhan out. Everyone except Anna. She's been kept in the dark in her own home.

Episode 6

At the hospital, Shi Jiaoyue performs remorse—she didn't know kids couldn't eat fried chicken, she only wanted to make A Zhan happy. Pei Xin'an's mother waves it off as an overreaction. A Zhan is barely conscious, and still Anna is told she's making a fuss.

Then the insults land: Anna is a country bumpkin who married above herself, ten years in the Pei family and still can't behave. Jiaoyue, by contrast, is praised as refined and precious.

The mother-in-law even claims Jiaoyue saved the family a decade ago by marrying a rich man and pulling in investment. Then she invites Jiaoyue to move into Pei Xin'an's villa. Anna objects. She's told she's jealous.

Episode 7

Anna finally says it out loud: she is Erika. She brought the investment that saved the Pei family ten years ago.

Jiaoyue doesn't flinch—she accuses Anna of impersonating Erika, since almost no one has seen the real one. Anna fires back with specifics: which investors, which bank, what split, what term. Jiaoyue has no answers.

Instead, Jiaoyue collapses dramatically, claiming Anna's accusations are destroying her mental health. Pei Xin'an's mother blames Anna for provoking a sick woman. And Pei Xin'an? He tells Anna he won't divorce her, but only because she's embarrassing herself by stealing Jiaoyue's credit. He calls her cheap—and says her ten years of devotion were worth nothing.

Episode 8

The scheme unravels in the worst way. A Zhan wakes and admits the truth: Jiaoyue coached him. She told him to eat fried chicken and to tell his father and grandmother that his mother gave it to him—so they'd hate her.

Anna confronts Jiaoyue, who pivots instantly, threatening to cancel the investment deal and play the wounded helper. The grandmother refuses to believe a nine-year-old could lie on his own. Instead of protecting Anna, the family turns on her—ordering her to apologize for framing Jiaoyue, then calling for the bodyguards when she refuses.

A Zhan is asked one last time who fed him the fried chicken. He points at his mother.

Episode 9

The punishment is swift and humiliating. Anna is dragged out while the family stands by. Jiaoyue, dizzy and fragile, is fussed over—her depression now described as physical, possibly life-threatening. Anna is told she should be grateful to even stay, and mocked as a useless nobody who can't pull in a single investment.

Quietly, Anna delivers her warning: if they knew the ten-year-old investment came from her, and that the hundred-billion-dollar contract in ten days is hers too, would they still dare speak to her like this?

A Zhan asks his grandmother if his mom could really be the investor. She laughs it off. Jiaoyue is the impressive one, after all.

Episode 10

At the doctor's office, Anna gets news that changes everything: she's three months pregnant. A child, right when she was finally ready to walk away.

Jiaoyue learns of it and panics—a pregnancy means Pei Xin'an might never divorce Anna. She escalates, using A Zhan again. The boy calls Anna, crying, apologizing for lying and begging her to come to him.

Anna goes, because he's still her son. But the trap is already set: Jiaoyue has coached A Zhan through the chat messages, the fried chicken, the lies—promising that if he obeys, she'll be his mother forever. Anna walks straight toward it.
