Episode 1

For four years, Audrey has been sleeping with her brother's best friend—Zachary, a rising lawyer who insists their arrangement stays a secret. Julian presses Audrey about Zachary. She refuses to name who hurt her, hiding behind a story about a celebrity's secret child. Julian insists he only wants the best for his baby sister—maybe a solid, well-connected match. Audrey finally admits the truth to herself: all those years, she was just the placeholder until Bryn came back with his kid. She decides she can't vanish without Zachary knowing about the child, yet this is no longer about him—it's about her and the baby.

Episode 6

Audrey calls Zachary, but a woman's voice answers—he's in the shower, and the voice covers by claiming she was talking to Jeffrey about bedtime. At the office, coworkers gossip that Zachary has been working overtime on a case for his girlfriend. A colleague flirts with Audrey; she brushes him off. Then she tells Zachary she's ending their professional arrangement and, personally, too. He's stunned, asking where this is coming from. She says this will be the last time she sets foot there.

Episode 7

Zachary assumes Audrey is angry about her forgotten birthday and pleads that work has buried him. She fires back: busy celebrating his kid's birthday with his ex? He tells her to breathe, reminding her they were always just physical. Audrey says she won't be the other woman who breaks up his family. He warns her not to drag Bryn in—her situation isn't Audrey's concern. Audrey announces she'll be gone by today. But before she goes, she drops the truth: she's pregnant with his baby.
