The Mafia's Innocent Lover

Episode 1

Rafael Moretti has spent three years hunting for one woman, and his people still haven't found her. Sophia is scraping by, caring for a father who needs surgery she can't afford, while her boyfriend Joseph has lost all of her money. When she confronts him, he throws it back in her face, telling her to go sell herself if she needs money that badly. Then the casino erupts: robbers storm the floor, and one of them grabs Sophia, shoving her forward as a shield. She's terrified, broke, and completely out of options.

Episode 2

The robbery turns into a standoff, and a voice cuts through the chaos: found you, little kitten. Rafael Moretti has walked straight into his own territory to reclaim what's his, warning the men they've picked the wrong place and the wrong people to threaten. Sophia braces to die, thinking only of her father who still needs her. But Rafael doesn't let her go. After three years of searching, he's finally standing face to face with the woman he's been looking for, and this time he has no intention of losing her.

Episode 3

Sophia thanks Rafael for saving her and insists she can work by herself, but he tells her not to push it. There's a strange pull between them, and he makes it plain he won't let her slip away again. Then Joseph reappears, all fake concern, asking if she's okay. Sophia doesn't soften. She tells him it's over and demands her money back, refusing to let him play the worried boyfriend after everything he cost her.

Episode 4

Joseph refuses to let go. He claims he already took a six-month advance on his salary and swears her father's surgery payments won't be late again, then pushes wine on her to calm her down. But the moment he's alone, his real worry surfaces: if Sophia has actually caught Rafael Moretti's attention, Joseph is in serious trouble. He's already scheming, bragging about a deal and some goods he's lined up with Old John, sure that Rafael never touches anyone. Whatever Joseph is planning, Sophia is standing right in the middle of it.

Episode 5

Ethan reports back to Rafael: Sophia seems to have made a deal with Old John, and the men sneer that she stooped that low for money. Rafael says nothing. Sophia, desperate, tries to borrow the surgery fee herself, and Dr. Harris tells her she needs a million dollars as a deposit. When she thanks him, relieved her father will finally be saved, she finds Joseph has spent the money meant for the surgery. She begs him to return it, but he brushes her off, busy and dismissive, until a stranger appears at the door and Joseph panics.

Episode 6

Sophia asks Rafael to lend her money, and his verdict lands coldly: sure enough, she's no different from any other gold digger. He orders Ethan to hand over five hundred thousand, but Sophia says she needs a million. Rafael warns her not to get too full of herself, yet the deal is already forming in his mind. Sophia is frantic, terrified she won't be able to raise the surgery money in time. She says she'll do anything, and he tells her to draw up the contract: a mistress contract.

Episode 7

The terms are laid out coldly: one year, no interference in his private life, no pregnancy, always available, half a million dollars a month. Sophia accepts every condition, but she wants a million in advance first, and Rafael has Ethan pay her on the spot. Then reality closes in. Sophia is pregnant and agonizes over whether Rafael could ever accept the child, while somewhere else a wedding date is being set. He's getting married, and Sophia is just the mistress.
